The Monroe County YMCA - HTC Center opened in January 2006 at 9514 Caring Way (formerly 4319 EE Road) in the heart of Monroe County off Route 3 between Waterloo and Columbia, Illinois. Map
This beautiful facility offers Monroe Countians a wide variety of programs designed to build healthy spirit, mind and body. Facility features include the Crowder Family Fitness Center with cardio and strength training equipment; gymnasium; the Luhr Family Children's Center; indoor walking/jogging track; men's/women's/family locker rooms; Oerter Aquatic Center with indoor swimming pool and sauna; William E. Schmidt Family Aerobic Center; community room; an elevator and plenty of off street parking. Programs for all ages include aquatics - swim lessons, aquatic fitness and recreational swimming; youth and adult sports; health and fitness classes; family nights; teen and youth events; "active older adult" programming; summer day camps for kids, community events and much more!
