The YMCA Outdoor Center (click link to view video) offers unique opportunities for teambuilding and outdoor activities in a tranquil park-like setting just minutes from Belleville.
The YMCA Outdoor Center is the best of the great outdoors, with a lake for swimming, fishing or canoeing, a bath house, woodland trails, picnic facilities and athletic fields. It is home to the YMCA's Summer Day Camp as well as outdoor challenge education facilities unique to the YMCA of Southwest Illinois -- the High Ropes Course, Climbing Tower and Team Challenge Course. The Outdoor Center is open during daylight hours. Group reservations can be made by calling the Downtown Belleville YMCA at (618) 233-1243 or send an email to Carrie Buss, Membership/ OC Coordinator. Let us custom design a program to suit your needs!
The Lakeside Center, on the grounds of the Outdoor Center, is available for programming and group rental with its indoor meeting space for up to 50 people, kitchen, restrooms, and a large deck overlooking the lake and wooded acreage. It's a peaceful setting for small group corporate meetings, teambuilding activities, family get-togethers, church and social gatherings.
